BONK is a consulting sponsor for the 2008 Kids with Cancer Society’s Ride of Hope. Matthew Decore is riding in support of Jessica Tait, a 14-year girl who has osteogenic sarcoma, the same cancer that killed Terry Fox. Please see attached photo of Jessica.
In September of 2007, Jessica had her leg amputated, and since has developed 12 tumors in her lungs, 3 of which were removed, while the other 9 remain stable.
This Friday, May 30th we will be on the CityTV morning show with Bridget Ryan and Marjorie O’Connor, virtually riding the combined-distance of the Ride of Hope, Victoria to Edmonton (1,250 km).
The Ride of Hope begins this June 5 from Victoria, culminating June 15th in Edmonton. For more information about riding in the Ride of Hope, or to donate visit the website http://www.kidswithcancer.ca/, click “Ride of Hope”, “donate”, “Matthew Decore” (instant tax receipt emailed directly).
